Flowers, Chocolate, Bunny Booties, and a Leather Pencil Skirt: My Weekend

The Boyfriend's dad has been in town, so I've been spending a lot of time with him and his family. It's always nice to see everyone and it makes me feel closer to them, which is so important! His dad is one of the most positive people I've ever met, so it's always a pleasure to have him here. He also went to culinary school, so I like watching him in my kitchen and learning something new. Here are a few things from my weekend...

I got some pretty flowers! I don't know a whole lot about my camera, but I know that if I click on the close-up flower button, it takes pretty rose pictures...

Having fresh flowers in my house makes me so happy!

There is a chocolate shop in my town that has literally the best and prettiest chocolates I've ever seen! I took my grandmother there and we each picked out a few...

My obsession with all things peanut butter and jelly went to a whole new level with their PB&J chocolates! They have PB&J Gelato, too, that I can't wait to go back and try...

I had to make a Petsmart run and saw these pink bunny booties. They were in my shopping cart in about two seconds! It's hilarious watching her try to walk in them! I should make a video and put it on here-I have yet to figure out how to do that...

We went out to a Peruvian restaurant last night and I threw this outfit together. I really liked it, I just wished that I had a thin leopard belt. The shirt is from Target and I've had the Marciano shoes and skirt for so long, I can't even remember where I got them from-or even read the tag on the skirt! So, I found a few things to recreate the look...

Shirt: Forever 21
Skirt: Bebe
Belt: Cole Haan
Shoes: Sam Edelman
Earrings: Kate Spade

I got a lot of sanding done on my furniture redo project, but there's still a long way to go! I can't wait until it's finished and I'll be sure to post some pictures. The rest of my weekend included a few more dinners out, some gardening, magazine reading, and heavy duty house cleaning!

Happy Monday :)

  2. I absolutely love your outfit! Leather + chambray is a great look! A leopard belt really would have been a great addition :) Might be stealing this look...

  6. I want a skinny leopard belt too. I have't worn my chambray shirt with my pencil skirt. I just might do that tomorrow since the weather's going to be great. Thanks for the inspiration.
