Another weekend has come and gone! I really enjoyed this one because I got to get away, see some new things, do some shopping, cook, and relax...
The Boyfriend and I went up to Orlando Thursday for a mini getaway. We stayed on the Disney's Port Orleans resort which was, surprisingly, relaxing and chill. We went to Downtown Disney for dinner and a few drinks, then went back to the room to watch the news. Seriously, Orlando's news is way more exciting than ours! Is that Lame? The next day we decided that we are officially old...
It was also freezing! I hadn't felt 40 degrees in forever, but we still had a good time walking around. In the morning, we went to a Disney breakfast thing so I could get a Mickey Waffle, then we spent the day shopping and eating literally some of the best cuban food we've had in awhile...
We had gone to Gloria Estefan's Cuban restaurant the night before and the Boyfriend couldn't order a Cuban sandwich and was sad. The next day, we found a restaurant in town called Padrino's with much tastier food and a sandwich for him! I got the Lechon Asada at both places liked Padrino's version much better! If your ever in Orlando, give this place a try! You won't be disappointed...
Look at that happy sandwich face! The plantains were yummy, too!
Because I live in metallic sandals, I had to grab a couple of pairs that were on sale:)
We're going back up there in a few weeks to ride some rides and do the whole park thing!

Saturday, I bought an oak bedroom set from the Boyfriend's grandmother for next to nothing and plan on refinishing it to make it look pretty! It's going to take forever, but I can't wait until it's finished!
I discovered a Middle Eastern grocery store and finally found Rosewater! It's supposed to be great for your skin and Lord knows I need all the help I can get in the skin department! It's too soon to tell if it's working, but it smells awesome. You can also use instead of Visine and it's supposed to help your hair grow...
Saturday night, I made this Crunchy Mustard Salmon and it was pretty easy and quick!

oh wow, what a great weekend! i dont know if i have ever had cuban food before but you have sparked my interest! i have made that salmon before and its really good :)
