I have a few little things I want to share-lots of things that have been making me smile lately and two not so great things. You have to take the good with the bad in life, right? I'll start with what I've been loving lately...
I got this mug for my coffee last weekend and I think it's so pretty! I also love a positive message first thing in the morning...
This is for all of the blondie's out there! I lighten my hair myself and, even thought I don't use bleach, anytime you lift color out of your hair, it's damaging! This Perfect 4 Platinum spray by Pureology fills in the gaps left by lightening, and leaves my hair soft and shiny. It gets rid of any tangles, so I'm not having to run a comb through my hair over and over, which can damage hair, too. It's also 100% vegan!
And while we're on the subject of beauty products, I'll tell you about this amazing stuff! I was in Sephora last week and one of the girls working started telling me about how intensely this mask clears out your pores and how her skin has been glowing ever since she tried it! Her skin did look pretty, so I picked up a bottle and tried it myself-and Wow! It goes on and dries pitch black and you have to avoid getting it on your hairline and eyebrows because it will take your little hairs right off! Then, after 30 minutes, you peel it off and moisturize. I couldn't believe all of the junk that came out of my skin! I really was glowing, too! I plan on using this stuff once a week. You can get it Here!
I love this one-sentence journal! I used to write pages and pages of journal entries when I was younger, but finding the time to write now is a little more difficult. Writing one sentence a day is an easy commitment that can help build and keep your memories vivid. I also love finding something positive to say about everyday, even if it's small...
Do ya'll have Tuesday Morning stores in your town? I used to go to the one in Nashville with my mom all of the time when I was young, but I had forgotten all about them until yesterday. I was driving home and noticed one near my neighborhood and, since I had some time to spare, I decided to stop in. It's all closeout merchandise and I wasn't expecting a whole lot, but I couldn't believe some of the things they had! I have been wanting a KitchenAid hand mixer for a while now and had heard nothing but good things about the Orka steamer, so when I was able to purchase both for $38, I was sold! Every store carries something different, so I can't wait to see what others around town have...
Now, since not everything can be rainbows and sunshine, here are two not so great things that I'm not loving...
Camera tolls in Miami! I'm sure there are plenty of back roads to get me where I need to be whenever I go over there, but since I'm not too familiar with the city, I take the Florida Turnpike almost everywhere. It has a ridiculous amount of tolls and, while most of them have someone waiting there to take your $1.50, some are just cameras that takes your picture and charge you later. No fun...
And, I could kick myself every time I forget to move clothes from the washer to the dryer and all of my clothes stink! I woke up to some very fragrant clothing this morning and had to re-wash everything! Oh well, worse things could happen...

I've been meaning to get that mask. Everyone raves about it.
ReplyDeleteAnd I just remembered that I forgot to move a load of clothes into the dryer this morning. Do you know how much laundry detergent I waste because I simply hate laundry? I'm always rewashing stuff and de-wrinkling my clothes in the dryer 3 or 4 times before hanging them up.
I'll admit, the ticket thing made me laugh! At least it wasn't $$!
